Self-Gifting

Yeah I know -- it's been a few days.

Bite me.

I've been busy with rehearsals and performances and more rehearsals. The performances were over this past weekend. [Yay!]

Life is a bit better this week. I have to tell ya, in an effort to avoid the mistakes of past holidays [ie: New Year's, Birthdays...] I've decided to either be the event PLANNER or blame myself.

Today was a good one. I bought Mom candy and presents. Jen made her a beautiful bracelet which she loved! [Thanks Jen!!]

Mom gave me a beautiful card and a bracelet that I bought for myself at Christmas.

Don't ask.

She wrapped it and everything. I just said Thank You and to be perfectly honest, it was a surprise! I never expected to be gifted with something I bought for myself. But it could've been nothing and I'm thankful that I was so thoughtful as to pick something I already knew I liked.

I was looking for a picture to spruce things up here in celebration for the holiday. I saw an awful lot, but THIS ONE really caught my eye.

It's not really the way I feel -- but it DID make me laugh!!

It's the spirit that counts.
