Queen of Procrastination
Decorating, preparing for the holiday -- it's absorbing everything that I am. I wonder why I even decorate anyway.
I think I'm doing it for Mom. She probably thinks she's doing it for me and neither one of us have the complete energy to do it for ourselves.
I don't know whether I'm fighting something or it's winning. I do know that I have a rehearsal tomorrow evening and I'm suppose to be off book. I haven't started yet.
I know.
The QUEEN of procrastination.
But, if you're going to do something -- hey -- may as well do it right.
I went to see RENT the movie last night w/a friend. She called at the last minute and suggested it and well, who else is gonna go w/me? At any rate -- I'm glad she did, I'm glad WE did and well, I'm still processing the movie.
At first glance, I liked it. I liked the music -- albeit a little 'rock-y' for me. It was sad -- I won't spoil the 'goods', but it just reminded me of the era I lived in NYC and went to school and well, really LIVED the Boheme lifestyle -- including the LOFT.
But more than anything, it made me miss my two friends who are in school in different states. I miss them horribly. I miss them like I miss family.
Even more than chocolate chips.
