Fleeting Days

THAT was quite a vacation.

Honestly, I've just been embroiled in Family and Holiday.

It was pretty much as I imagined. The day went really quickly because of all the obligations.

I was sick the other evening and just plain tired this week. All the hassle, I guess.

Saw the movie Syriana yesterday. Not what I was expecting, but damn. George is seriously my favorite no matter what weight. I never thought that before, but let me just say it again... damn.

Oh.

It's in print this morning.

I got a mention as BEST ACTRESS.

Don't get all excited. Me and like 30 other women.

I've been mentioned as Best SUPPORTING Actress, but never minus the supporting part.

I guess all that stress and work was worth it. Honestly, it was worth it without the mention. Though I can't help wonder if losing weight helped to put me into a different category? It's the luck of the draw of roles and such, but still -- it's a competitive beast and well, what I've done is nothing less than miraculous.

Yeah. Back to work. Rehearsals begin for my next project.
