Dancing Yoga

Whew, dawg.

Last night's Choreography rehearsal kicked my ass.

First off, let me say THIS dvd:

Is awesome. I have a 20-minute Yoga that I fell in love with this past summer, but I knew there was a video out there for what they call 'round bodies'.

This IS the shit. It's clear, gives plenty of 'modifications' and inclusive but not to the point of being 'dumbed down'.

From the Warm-up-Work-out-Relaxation it's 28 minutes. Just enough to get those juices flowing and rejuvenated for another day.

So much so that I would've done it again just to prove to myself how fun it was the first time.

I didn't. But it's nice to know that I could. I'm really NOT that much of an 'overachiever'.

Let me tell you -- I F E E L it in my ass this morning. Whew.

Now.

Combine that with a 2 & 1/2 hour 'dancing' rehearsal. Including FAN KICKS and the TRIPLE TIME STEP!! [And we didn't even GET to the Soft Shoe number.] I thought I forgot the TTStep. Nah. It came right back. She yelled it out and before my head could process it -- my body did it with the other girls. Sheesh.

I am so happy this morning. Those dancing 'endophins' are fab-U-lous.

Can I just tell you HOW MUCH I love being on the stage in a role that allows me the ability to fulfill all my dreams as a singer/dancer?

Probably not.

But I've got the next 2 months to figure it out.
